The Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa Scheme offers remote workers from non-European Union (EU) and non-European Economic Area (EEA) countries the opportunity to live and work in Cyprus for up to three years. Eligibility

Applicants must be non-EU/EEA nationals who work remotely for companies or clients outside of Cyprus.

 

Income Requirement

A minimum monthly net income for digital nomad residents in Cyprus is € 3,500, with an additional 20% for a spouse and 15% for each child.

 

Duration

The Cyprus digital nomad visa is initially granted for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years.

 

Family Inclusion

Holders of the Cyprus digital nomad visa can bring their family members, who are permitted to reside in Cyprus but are not allowed to work or engage in economic activities within the country.

 

Tax Residency

If a digital nomad resides in Cyprus for more than 183 days in a tax year, they are considered tax residents and may benefit from the island's favorable tax regime.

 

Required documents include proof of employment or business activities, evidence of sufficient income, valid health insurance, and a clean criminal record certificate. The maximum number of permits that can be granted is 500.
