Cyprus launches Business Support Center to assist investors

On 26 May 2025, Cyprus inaugurated its Business Support Center (BSC) in Nicosia, aiming to streamline services for both local and foreign investors.
The BSC consolidates key government departments, including the Strategic Development Sector of the Department of Town Planning and Housing, the Business Facilitation Unit of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, and Invest Cyprus.
Services offered by the BSC include:
Providing information and personalized guidance on establishing and licensing businesses.
Assisting with company registration and inclusion in the fast-track licensing mechanism.
Processing electronic applications for registration in the Register of Companies with Foreign Interests.
Facilitating licensing procedures for energy projects related to renewable energy sources and zero-emission technologies.
Supporting the establishment and operation of businesses in the services sector through the Point of Single Contact (PSC) Cyprus.
The BSC serves as the first point of contact for investors seeking to establish or expand their business activities in Cyprus.
