InterContinental Hotels Group plans to open a boutique hotel in the Agios Lazaros area of Larnaca by the end of 2019.
Following agreement with Quality Group and Sunnyseeker Hotels in October, global hotel chain InterContinental Hotels Group becomes the next large hotel group to invest in Cyprus.
Quality Group will license InterContinental’s Indigo boutique hotel brand. They will rebrand their own Q Boutique hotel as an Indigo Hotel. The Indigo Hotel will comprise 40 rooms offering 80 beds for residents.
Quality Group has already agreed to co-operate with the Radisson Hotel Group and the Best Western Hotels & Resorts. Both hotel giants have decided to invest in the Larnaca region. The Radisson Blu Hotel Larnaca has been open since October 2018 while the Radisson Beach Resort is under construction. Best Western’s Executive Residency Zenon Hotel is expected to open in 2020.
