CyEC is a national competition started by the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, Energy, Industryand Tourism, and is organised by the University of Cyprus Centre of Entrepreneurship (C4E)
CyEC offers ambitious teams a platform to receive guidance and support from experienced mentors and industry leaders. The Competition supports the transformation of promising ventures into viable businesses, emphasizing the importance of problem-solution fit and product-market fit.
Participants can choose between two tracks:
Submission Deadline: 8 September 2023
Tailored for early-stage teams without a prototype or traction. The Acceleration Track offers a 2-month programme of mentoring and advice for business plan and pitching preparation.
Submission Deadline: 13 October 2023
Tailored for more mature ideas and companies that have already launched in the market and are seeking investment and growth support.

CyEC 2023 offers two cash prizes to each winning startup. Moreover, each startup will have the chance to pitch towards and connect with investors at the final event on 28 November 2023.
Additional awards will be announced on the competition's official website, adding to the excitement and recognition for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements.
